What are the four elements in your life?
Family: My family is by far the most important element in my life. My three children are really what gives me purpose in life and what counts. If they are sick, it feels like the whole world can shake and I wouldn’t even notice. The amount of love I have for them and the amount of love I receive from them is just unlimited. I am so grateful to also have a wonderful and supportive husband who is my pillar in life and I would be totally lost without him.
Nature: Nature is what makes me feel calm and grounded. I love living in Sweden because there is so much beautiful nature everywhere. I live outside of Stockholm in a house so I feel lucky to just be able to walk outside in the garden or go for a walk in the neighbourhood and be surrounded by nature. Whenever I feel stressed, the best way for me to feel better is to go out for a walk with my dog, Louca.
Travel: Discovering new places and changing environments is really inspirational to me. It is so enriching to learn about another culture, to see what their daily life looks like and to get inspired by it. It has taught me so much to live in different countries, including Switzerland, France, the UK and now Sweden. I think it is very important to travel in order to be more open-minded and this is really something I would like to teach my children as well. Due to Covid and my pregnancy, we have not travelled much lately, and although it feels good from an environmental aspect, I really miss it and look forward to being able to travel again soon.
Food: Food is really important to me as I really take so much pleasure in eating and discovering new flavours. Food has a big impact on my mood and how I feel in my body. I love cooking (really simple recipes) and I love the social aspect of food. I encourage my kids to participate in the cooking and I love sharing family dinners and long dinners with friends.
